How do you produce multimedia news stories in different countries? Mayada Ghazala discusses the challenges of producing multimedia stories from countries where journalists are not based.

Mayada Ghazala, is a multimedia producer at Middle East Broadcasting Networks. Before joining MBN, she was in Cairo covering the Egyptian revolution from a social media perspective at a local news network. In 2013, she moved to the United States to pursue a career in digital storytelling. She is a graduate of American University School of Communication where she earned her master’s degree in digital journalism and storytelling, and Cairo University, where she earned her BA in marketing and communications.
